Day 256…Rainwater collection

In committing to pursue a permaculture lifestyle in as many ways as I can, the collection of rainwater is important under the permaculture principle of catch and store. Rainwater collection is an easy addition to the house. Whether it setting up barrels or bins (with screens attached) or buying a set up like the one here. You can also purchase a downspout converter kit or rig one up like we did.

Rainwater is apparently much better for gardens - veg or perennial, and much better for bird baths.
